Happy Life Wealth Management Inc. Receives 10 Year Continued Contribution Award at Ontario Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony, April 2024
On April 18, 2024, the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony, hosted by Ontario Volunteer Service, took place at the Scarborough Convention Center. This event celebrated volunteers and organizations from Ontario who have made significant contributions. Mr. Eric Luo, founder of Happy Life Wealth Management Inc., and Ms. Angel Shuhe Luo, the Director of External Relations, represented their team at this grand event. They received the "Award for 10 Year Continued Contribution" in recognition of Happy Life’s decade-long professional financial services to the immigrant community and their selfless assistance in helping them settle in new environments.
For a long time, the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony has been a significant annual event in Ontario, aimed at acknowledging volunteers and organizations across all ages and fields for their substantial contributions to public service and community building. Established by the Ontario government in 1986, this ceremony is held at various locations each year. It underscores the critical role of volunteer service in fostering social harmony and progress, awarding certificates and pins from the provincial government as symbols of appreciation for the awardees' efforts and dedication, inspiring others and encouraging more participation in volunteer activities.
This year, Happy Life was invited again to the ceremony and received an award, representing not only the local government's recognition of Happy Life's long-term volunteer involvement but also an affirmation of its decade-long charitable contributions. This aligns with Happy Life’s business philosophy: striving for excellence in professionalism, fostering a kind spirit towards social welfare, maintaining a global perspective and perseverance in international exchanges, and offering wise and humble professional services.
Since its establishment, Happy Life has been committed to giving back to the community, promoting the development and construction of the community, actively cooperating with Canadian municipal governments–especially the City of Markham by sponsoring and assisting in organizing major forums, and charitable activities on topics such as trade, investment, and cultural exchanges. These include:
Since 2012, Happy Life has actively participated in the annual charity golf events organized by the City of Markham, making significant donations.
On June 23, 2015, Happy Life officially became a member of the Markham Board of Trade, playing an active role in revitalizing and developing Markham’s economy, and in 2016, it first received the "Community Special Contribution Award" from the Board, winning it multiple times thereafter.
In 2016, Happy Life proudly sponsored the "Happy Life Fitness Center," a gym within the Pan Am Centre in Markham, providing top-notch sports facilities and a comfortable exercise environment, marking the first local private enterprise to sponsor a large municipal facility.
Since 2017, Happy Life has continuously donated to Markham Stouffville Hospital, the largest public hospital in Markham.
Happy Life has responded to the call for community service by establishing a large and active volunteer service team, "Happy Life Volunteer Group," regularly serving at major local events, thus enhancing participation and receiving recognition from the City of Markham.
