Happy Life Wealth Management Inc. Visits Sakura Cherry Blossoms at High Park

April heralds the arrival of spring, with flowers in full bloom. In Toronto, the end of April and early May marks the prime season for enjoying the view of cherry blossoms. Along the downtown area, there are many cherry blossom spots, attracting a considerable number of people watching. Today, our Happy Life “Cherry Blossom Viewing Event” gained a significant number of attendees in the renowned, High Park.

The history of High Park's cherry blossoms can be traced back to April 1, 1959, when the Japanese ambassador to Canada, Toru Hagiwara, presented 2,000 Japanese cherry trees as a gift to the citizens of Toronto on behalf of the citizens of Tokyo, Japan, in recognition of their support for Japanese Canadian refugees after the Second World War (source from: https://www.sakurainhighpark.com/history). Today, High Park has become the first choice for cherry blossom viewing in Toronto—so during the cherry blossom viewing season, there is an endless stream of people.

At 10 o'clock in the morning, our Happy Life "Cherry Blossom Flash Mob" team assembled at the Markham headquarters and headed to downtown in two seven-seater SUVs. The team was full of new and old friends of Happy Life, and the weather was also absolutely stellar, with a cloudless blue sky, so everyone talked and laughed along the way and was very excited.

When we arrived near High Park, we really saw what "traffic" meant. The park was blocked all around, and it was obvious that everyone wanted to seize this precious cherry blossom week. We had no choice but to park the car far away and walk to the park.

As we walked along High Park, the beautiful scenery of spring flowers in the fields have firmly attracted everyone's attention. Clusters of green trees sprouted new buds, and patches of tulips were about to bloom, showing endless vitality and the breath of spring. Some team members couldn't help but recite Bai Juyi's famous line aloud, "The flowers of April are gone, and the peach blossoms in the mountain temple are in full bloom", imagining that after the cherry blossom season, all flowers will surely compete for beauty.
